Separate identities
If you are just starting out in sex work, you still have the opportunity to get it right the first time. You do this by separating a private identity and a work identity.
- At the email level, use a private email address and a work address.
- At the cell phone level, you have a private phone and a work phone.
- On social media, you have a private profile and a work profile. Never switch to the other profile within the app.
- On the Internet, you use a browser for your private searches and you use a browser for work searches. So immediately use a browser that offers more privacy, such as FireFox, Brave or Startpage.
- Preferably you also log in separately at the connection level (your router's wifi), but that's not really feasible in practice.
