Stripe
What is it
Stripe is what they call a Payment Service Provider. That is, Stripe acts as an intermediary for sellers and the authorized credit card networks/financial institutions, to authorize and accept payments. Stripe has no set-up fees, monthly fees or hidden costs. It does, however, have per-transfer fees that are charged on a per-payment basis.
Are you perhaps using another Payment Service Provider, those of Payvision, then it's good to know that ING is ending the partnership.
What it can mean for a sex worker
Eventually, sex workers want them to just be accepted at banks, but until then, this can be a nice "workaround.
